‘Time you enjoyed wasting, was not wasted.’
John Lennon
Restorative Yoga teacher and massage therapist Katie Brown focuses on Women’s well -being and mental health.
Many of us experience being ‘too busy’ – that sense of pressure to succeed and turn up for everything. Sometimes fuelled by unrealistic aspirational social messages, it can lead to feelings of inadequacy. This can have consequences for self and family.
Katie explains what is happening at a physiological level when we are stressed. She shares how we can move from this super stressed state and what we can do to support ourselves, whether we are feeling overwhelmed by the “everyday” kind of stress as we juggle the mental load of caring, or the big events that come from left field, like a child getting sick?
And why this matters so much?
As a very special gift for you, Katie takes us through one of her magical breathing and centering exercises so you can take a few minutes to experience deep relaxation. Join us at 29:43 in this episode for Katie’s guided release breathing.
Stay until the end for some great, funny Tits Up stories from both Katie and Pinky.

The average baby requires at least nine hours of ‘hands-on care’ a day and that doesn’t include all the extra tasks of washing, cooking and basic self-care (like simply having a shower!) that goes with the new addition to your family.
As you breastfeed and care for your baby, feeding yourself is often the last thing you can manage. This is why I (Pinky – I am International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) created delicious Boobie Foods – Boobie Bikkies and Boobie Brekkie – to nourish you as you breastfeed your baby.
As a nourishing snack, an analysis by Victoria University, Melbourne, found that Pinky’s Boobie Foods can be a helpful nutritional complement to a healthy balanced diet. And, because we know that everything mothers eat will be passed to their baby through breast milk, Boobie Bikkies® and Boobie Brekkie ® are made from all natural and organic ingredients with no preservatives or additives.
You can download my FREE ebook ‘Making More Mummy Milk, Naturally’ and you will get 15% off any purchase when you order Boobie Bikkies, Boobie Brekkie and any of the carefully curated breastfeeding accessories at www.boobiefoods.com.au .
